CREATING A REFINED & INVITING ENTRANCE

Set amongst rolling hills in an agricultural area of Queensland, this family wanted to really maximise the potential of their already beautiful house and garden. A key part of the brief was to create a refined and inviting entrance to the house and a useable driveway both for family use and farm machinery. To mitigate water issues beside the house, we introduced a dry creek bed and soak to channel water away from the house.

SEAMLESSLY INTEGRATED NATURAL MATERIALS

An existing entertainment space was redesigned and planted to make the most of the slope and views. The clients wanted predominantly native plants, colour, seasonal interest and plants that support birds and insects as well as complimenting the house and site conditions. A broad mix of shrubs, flowering plants, groundcovers and trees were used to create a lush, diverse palette.
