REAR GARDEN OF FOOD FOR POLLINATORS

Connecting the main house and studio, this sunlit rear garden brings together food production, entertainment areas and private sitting nooks, framed by a lively plant palette.

SUNLIT REAR

Kangaroo paws, Xerochrysums, Ammobiums and Agastache weave freely through the space, creating a loose, shifting planting that changes through the seasons and supports continuous insect and bird activity.

FRONT GARDEN CALM

On the contrary, the front garden sits within shade, creating a quieter, greener space. Native ferns, Boronias, Veronicas and soft groundcovers form a lush understorey beneath the house edge, wrapping around boulders with pockets of dainty flowering species such as Wahlenbergia and Brachyscome palustre. A recessed boulder detail holds water, offering water source for birds and insects within the garden.
